At Velutex Flock S.A., we’ve had the honour of collaborating with the UK-based company SARA + SARAH SMART TEXTILE DESIGN, specialists in textile engineering, on a project recently presented at Milan Design Week.

Using their offcuts and production remnants, we transformed them into recycled flock.

What’s truly remarkable is that this very flock is then reused by them to create new high-end flocked fabrics and tulles, effectively closing the loop on the material’s life cycle — a true example of a “close the loop” approach.

This project represents not only innovation, but also a clear commitment to a more sustainable and circular future within the textile industry.
